How did the HID install go? Are you happy with it? Does it blind oncoming traffic? Seat looks good. I would remove the orange turn signal lenses and swap to silver coated amber bulbs and remove the lower rear tire guard.

I just finished the HID install, 10 min. job. as for the rear tire guard: gonna keep that. I ran out of $$ so the chrome bulbs will wait till my next paycheck. I don't care if I bother oncoming drivers. I had a woman make a left rite in front of me yesterday, IF NOT FOR THE GREAT BRAKES ON THE BLUR I WOULD HAVE T-BONED HER. she said "SORRY I DID NOT SEE YOU".

PS: that is a still from my GoPro.
There must be huge differences in output on these motors as yours is almost brand new so shouldn't be at full potential yet. I went out on the highway yesterday and the best I could do was 70 mph on a flat section on the way home. I have about 1800 miles on my scooter. Earlier in the day I was running flat out downhill and only saw 66mph. To give details it was about 50F and I weigh 170lbs. I would love to be able to ride with someone like you and see if there is a true speed difference, or if it is a speedometer variance. So few Blurs around here to even attempt it.
The reason I can not ride the blur is because the seat is too high!!! What did you do to the seat, and how many inches did it take off seat height?? Thank you in advance, Terri

There is actually a thread about this very issue on the forums. Someone is selling a modified seat which takes about 2" off the height. They want to trade for an OEM seat.
