new noise

today i noticed a whirring sound that seems to be coming from the variator. i never noticed it before. it happens when i accelerate and i don't notice it wot, but that may be because of the wind and engine noise.hope nothing's wrong because the engine is just starting to live up to the 60+ mph hype. was cruising on a flat stretch of road with no wind at an indicated 72 today.
