OK, don't get excited just yet, but...

...my local Genuine dealer hinted that we may have a 200cc Blur here in the near future. Couldn't pin him down for more details, but there's hope... :D

If that actually happens, I'll be selling my '06. Anyone want to buy an '06 with 10K miles for $5,800? I might let it go for $5,700 if I'm feeling good that day.

Hey! Don't get your shorts in a knot, I was just kidding about that price. :clown:

This is just another rumor, there is nothing else new from 2007's motorcycle show.

I can see genuine probably will bring back the blur, I'm sure the sales would be much better now than they were previously, but for now, there is no confirmation of a blur coming out for 2009/10

illnoise took this picture at the 2007 show, it's a PGO gmax 200 rebadged as a blur, notice they forgot to change the mirrors original colors too.

Am I alone on this, or is there anyone else that would like to get their hands on a set of those PGO rearview mirrors? I really like in inset silver piece and the slightly different hinge design where the mirrors meet the stems.

Ive learned to take rumors with a grain of salt. Im sure the Blur will come back sooner or later, especially with this scooter boom, but honestly i dont see Genuine changing from the current 150cc 2 valve simply for ease of service and replacement parts cataloging. I could see all 2009+ Buddy's being 150cc thou since its already available now.

Yeah, I like those mirrors too.

Rumor or not, it is coming from a Genuine dealer...

True, the "rumor" came from a Genuine dealer, but whats it really matter? Did a chief executive at Genuine Scooter Co. of Chicago tell you directly? Unless it came straight from the horses mouth, i wouldnt believe a word of it. The auto world is full of so much mis-information, its hard to really know whats truth and whats fiction. Thats what I like about Apple, regardless whether you love or hate Apple, no rumor can be held as truth until the keynote meeting when Jobbyjob announces the new products as official.

I wish they'd bring out the 250cc. Not sure how 150cc vs. 200cc would stack up - I'm sure there'll be a difference, but I don't know if it would be enough for me to trade in my 150cc Blur.
