Dark Dark Dark Mountian
I took off from home not knowing where I was headed something told me to hit highway 84 then make a right on to highway 238 until I got to Foothills Blvd in Hayward. I stayed on Foothills Blvd until I got to Castro Valley.
Once I got to Castra Valley I hit Palomares Rd. There I was in the mountians hitting more curves taking in the see-nary from what the mountain had to offer.

Whoa, for a second there I thought this was a post about riding Mt Palomar (which is near San Diego)- that would be quite a ride on the Blur!
Looks like a fun ride! Have you considered a trip up to the Lick Observatory?
It's a real shame that Pashnit now requires $$ to access his database, as that is a great list of roads for CA!

I plan to hit all the mountain my next ride will be from Castro Valley through Crow Canyon Rd inside the mountains for some photos and on to San Ramon is where it lead.
Then I’ll cross over to the other side of the Bay where I grew-up and hit Page mill Rd, then on to Alpine Rd then Portola Valley and back to the east bay.
I’ll have to bring my lunch for this ride.
