Slightly redesigned Derbi GP:

It has "G-Max" in it's name, heh. The GP and Peugeot JetForce were obvious influences on the G-Max/Blur design, but something about the new model looks even more like the Blur.
Weird that Derbi was in the US and starting to make a dent, they'd just built a big warehouse and national office outside Portland, then Piaggio bought them and pulled them from the U.S. Rats.

Go here to see the page automatically mistranslated.
Sure looks like a Blur, except for the goofy monoshock under the seat - apparently that is the old design (2006), the 2007 model has dual shocks.
Has a higher stepover in front of the seat than the Blur, and it looks like the fake link bar on the G-Max is real on the GP Max.
I'd like to see a ride off comparison between this Derbi and the G-Max 250.

Yup. But they don't sell 'em in the US. Piaggio is, as always, misreading the market/demand here. Plus, they have too many brand now with too-similar/competing products, but that's a different can of worms...lobsterman wrote:Isn't Derbi a Piaggio company?
