Headlight Assembly Broke

Post by laxer »

So I've had a little extra rattling going on lately in the front of my scoot, and today I discovered why: My headlight assembly is broken. I noticed that it was sitting out of whack so I checked the bottom screw and it was loose as all get-out. So I pulled off the front plastic and found that in all three places where it attaches the plastic has broken (the two on the top on the one on the bottom. I have no idea how this happened, has anyone else had this problem?

stop of launching really sweet jumps. :D those tabs are pretty small. wonder if its been loose for a while. a little rattle for a long time can become a big crack in plastic. :?

I accidently broke mine trying to put it back together one time when I was swapping out the front plastic, they are somewhat fragile, I havnt bought a new assembly yet, but I got it to stay in place by using washers in place of the tabs and just sort of wedging the assembly under them and then re-adjusting the adjustment screw at the bottom
