After talking with the scooter tech,,, i took out the small black canister from the fuel tank and put a vacum line cupler... The black canister was full of fuel not allowing it to breath... After doing this engine ran much better and airmixture had to be readjusted... Also i drill out the inlet hole of the airbox using a drimel tool... Sound became louder of the engine after doing that but free air now flows,,, had to readjust the airmix again... with the .97 jet in the carb and the correct fuel amount my rattler is very strong on accelaration... I am having some 9gm slider,,, yes sliders that should be here within two weeks,,, I think i have the vaperlock problem as well as fixed a starving for fuel to the carb problem... which should not be good for the engine for it makes it run lean at higher rpms... With 20 miles of testing no vaperlock bike ran well cept for the rollers about to drive me nuts... after open up the air flow i can see now that i need a larger jet...
I dont know if removing the canistor and splicing the line is going to cure the problem totaly but it seems like it has... Now that the small canister is not getting full is the big one getting gas in it and if so is that going to fill up or cause other problems i just dont know yet but intend on checking the big canister after next ride...
Airbox? Why do I like the airbox on the Rattler?,,, I think it add's too the uniqness and mean look of the Rattler like a drop of venom from a used fang...

I have 3 now,,, TGB fully tweeked that well out run both zuma and rattler... Iv looked into performance parts for the zuma and there dubble everything else iv seen,,, $350 just for a pipe,,, $250 for a clutch,,, OUCH!!! but i did not get the zuma to tweek,,, The Rattler yes,,, with 4ooo miles now on the Rattler it well not be long till its broken down and performance parts are put in,,, no NOS but as stong as an engine well be able to get,,, One of the biggest problems the Genuine tech is having is finding the right intake... Im guessing that the top RPM on a stock Rat is close to 8500rpm im wanting to hit at least 12,000,,, CDI,,, Crank Bearings high dollar parts,,, The Tech that tweeked my TGB did a wonderful job both on engine and transmission... I put a grand into both as well as and oversize tire... The take off is somewhat slow but once you hit 50mph its like a rocket... with the performance CDI we can only guess at the rpm at 16,000 as his shop tack only went to 14,000... After runin of the new engine i opened it up and twisted the speedometer cable in two... My son whom weights in at a 105lbs riding the TGB has out runs the Rattler everytime we open them up and its got lots more to go... Soon we well see if it can take on the Zuma 125,,, he well not drive it ill have to have my friend drive the zuma and ill saddle up to a very fast 50cc...
The 9gr sliders i ordered for the rattler just came to the door ,,, oh boy i get to play with my tools...
I'll take the big canister off and let you know about fuel being stored in it from the tank... But I think that fixed the vaperlock shutting down problem...
