trying to decide what 28mm carb is best!

So i just ordered my v8 pipe I have the Uni-filter and am ordering a ncy intake but can't decide on a carb. I've seen keihin, stage6 and arreche. So what works the best? I've read a pwk style flat slide carb is the best performance option. If anybody out there has experience with this what size main jet did you end up with? I'm right around sea level if that matters at all.
