Roughhouse 50 tail light out

Post by kooky scientist »

The tail light on my Roughhouse 50 is out yet the brake light is still working. No luck tracing the wires. Haven't had time to take apart the whole scooter to get at that area. Any tips ?

You need a new bulb. Brake and taillight are double filament if I recall correctly. One of your filaments is burned out. Sorry I don't know the size maybe some one else......any one...

Oh and if you must work in that area you will need to remove the rear rack if you have one.

Looks like it's LED to me. And a cheap replacement but a PIA to install...

Yep, spoke to my mechanic and you are right. It is a bulb. Should be an easy fix tomorrow...

That is good, road worthy and ready to roll. Just remember, always start with the simple, it may end up costing you little to nothing.
