Oil Light
Hi guys, I'm new to the scooter world and I got my 2013 roughhouse six days ago brand new and I love it! Already have 112 miles on it. I noticed my oil light blink on a few times when I was coming to a stop. I didn't think I'd need to be worrying about oil levels this soon. I'm not even sure how to check at this point. Any ideas? Also, what should I be focusing on as a new owner to keep it running right for a long time? Thanks guys.

nothing to worry about, its just the oil sloshing around when you stop. the oil tank is under your seat below your bag hook, there's a knob you can unscrew, and the pop of the plastic cover to check its levels.
if your scoot is brand new you should be running break in oil right now, should last you your first 500 miles. other then that just make sure you give your scoot a proper break in and it should last you a good long time

If the tank was filled at delivery it should not have dropped enouph to trigger the light, sloshing or not.oceanman5 wrote:Thank you so much for the info. Really put my mind at ease
I strongly recommend topping the tank off.
OP?
Did the dealer tell you this machine mixes and burns oil with the gasoline?
If not, read the manual ASAP so you understand how this operates.
Insufficient oil will cause engine failure.
Good luck,
