Black cat? Anyone have one?

We are thinking of purchasing a used 2006 Black Cat with 2200 miles. Anyone here ever own one? This one has a 70cc Malossi kit and updated carb. Is it worth it, do you think? TIA.

A Black Cat is just a Rough House with a cool paint job, so there is nothing to worry about as far as a stock scooter would be concerned. It probably has a cast iron Malossi 70 kit and a Dellorto 17.5mm or a slightly more common 19mm carb. If set-up (jetted) correctly it will still be very reliable. My last Zuma all I did was a 17.5 carb and a 70cc Malossi cast kit and it was much more fun than stock.

If you feel the price is right and it rides normal on a test ride then go for it! I LOVE the Black Cat version so much!

Thanks…. We are going to check it out this Saturday. I have zero experience with modded scooters, so I am guessing a 70cc kit would not shorten engine life span? Or am I wrong? I mean, 2006 is old, but with the mods and brand new tires (which it has) I am guessing it’s still worth it…
