Dim Rattler 110 head lamp ?? I may have a fix!

I was riding home at night for the first time the other night while contemplating how dim the light was. After a while it came to me that there was this blue spot light shining in my face from the dash of the 110. When I covered it up with my hand, all of a sudden I could actually see decent. I think I may fab up some kind of an elastic sock to cover all but the speedo numbers for night time driving.

yeah, i try not to look at it. i move my head so the chin/mouth part of my helmet covers it.
