Pinching the pipe

There is a small pipe that comes off the regular pipe that leads to the exhaust. I've been told that it has something to do with complying with California emissions, and that if I pinch it off, I can get a little more oomph out of my little rat. Haven't seen anyone post about this, has anyone else heard of this?

it will have zero effect
pull it off and cap the rubber hose, you'll see

Ray, when you installed the Prima pipe, what did you use to cap the hose with?

I had a black rubber tapered cork that fit in the hose. I put a clamp on it and tucked it in. Someday i'll strip all that junk off.

I am not sure where the cork came from, just had a collection i picked up someplace in a box of stuff.
