I wish I could tell you home boy, but when I bought it, the dealer had already put it in. Im assuming its 21 mm, because the guy told me that he put a "bigger one" on it. When I take this beast apart in a week or two I'll get back to you. Bigger carb= more fun, but i get like 40 mpg....for real....kind of defeats the purpose of why i bought it in the first place

I think I know who you bought it from... and I think he did go with a 21mm :D Still gets better mileage than the X (I know the XTerra very well).

My Rat has the stock carb, Uni pod filter, & V8 exhaust. It's running a 120 main jet. My trip meter shows 45.1 miles since the last fill-up, with the fuel gauge display at 10 bars full. With the stock carb, Uni pod, 115 main, & stock exhaust I was getting 70+ MPG. Now with the V8 exhaust & 120 main it appears to be doing at least that well with fuel consumption. And I don't baby it...

What'd you say? You can push it to about 70 indicated? I was planning on doing the Uni pod and the 115 jet, but I'll probably wait til the warranty's up, just in case (I know, I'm a p*ssy).

What speed do you top out at? I love hitting 65 consistently, but I would like better gas mileage, If I can still go fast. Not sure what to do.

Nissanman I bought it from "the motorcycle shop" in san antonio. I hope thats who you thought, that would be rad. Very good to know its a 21, that explains a lot.

I only saw 70MPH once, on a downgrade. What I said above is that it gets 70 MPG... :P

BO2S4 do you happen to remember what model number that is on the Uni Pod filter? The paper filter has to go...

I know you didn't ask me, but I'm pretty sure it's the PK-22. Throw that on and a 115 main jet and you'll be riding dirty all day!

Universal chrome pod PK-22. They are packaged as a pair.

The pod will SUBSTANTIALLY increase intake noise. It will sound much more like a 2-stroke from your yoot. You may or may not want that.

This was Jason's bike... only a 19mm carb according to this. Maybe he went larger after this post.

Hello.

Would you mind telling me where you got the rear rack from? How much was it?

That is a "factory" accessory rack available from Scooterworks. I suggest calling them direct, as last time I looked it didn't show on the website, but they do have them in stock from time to time. They are about $60 excluding shipping.

Hello.

I called them, but the person on the phone said he does not know anything about this rack. :(

Here are some racks that are a little simpler, but still very nice:

Hello.

Thank you, seen that pone too, but not sure if that one will work with a top case attached to it and still be able to take the gas cap off easily and fill up.

Does anyone have pictures with the a top case attached to this same rack?

The person that you spoke with must be a effing moron. Ask to speak with Anna, she knows what it is.

hahaha, that's funny.

Yeah, I even told him, the person I talked with that it is mentioned on this site, and that others have purchased this from them before.

OK, will call again and ask for
Anna.

Thanks for the name.
