Tire size
something that really has anoid me about the advertizment of the Rattler is there posting of the tire size... for well over a year now the genuine homepage for the Rattler http://www.genuinescooters.com/scooters ... fragment-3 shows the front tire size as being a 10" when in fact its a 12"... as lame as this might sound tire size was one of the key factors when searching for a new scooter at the beging of this year... to get it home and look it over it's a 12" ( i have 5 sets of 10" tires),,, every review iv found on the internet also says the Rattler has a 10" front tire... here is just one http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/2009/ ... tires.html
back in Feb of this year when i talked to the people at Genuine about engine problems ,,, i explaned this to the people i talked to that there web page states its a 10" tire... nothing to this date has been done about it... owners man. shows 12" on the Rattler as well as the Roughhouse...
are there any Rattlers out there that do in fact have a 10" front tire??? does the Roughthouse have a 12" front tire as well???

No, I DON'T have both. I work for a dealer. The Rattler has a 12" front wheel and a 10" rear wheel. The Roughhouse and Black Cat both have 10" wheels front and back.

i wonder if the hub is the same as the 12" ? granted caliber is in question of cleaing a 10",,, on the tgb it only gives a 1/4" but thats enough... inquiring minds have a need to know.... would by chance the rim match the o9 rattler??? if you remember...vespatech wrote:the previous rattler 50 had a 10" front

The RH came with the knobby tires. Anyone know the manufacturer? Are they Duros'?
For what it's worth, every picture i have every seen has these sizes:
RH 10"/10" knobby
BC 10"/10" knobby
Rat50 12"/10" street
Rat110 12"/10" street
I wouldn't even look at that owners manual, it's just a translated version of the Taiwanese models. I doubt it was rewritten for what actually was exported to the states.

Keep it nice Major. Keys' knowledege is not based on his job at a scooter shop now, he has decades of two wheeled experience. Just lucky enough to be doing a jobby (job + hobby) at the moment. Ironically I noticed that the Rattler attracts a lot of gearheads, more so than other scooters. So it doesn't suprise me that we'd all have at least a little relevant and credible input to share from time to time. Try searching some of Keys' older posts on MB... he's always been welcomed team player on the forums.
Now can someone turn the heat on? It's 25deg in CT today, and stupid windy! Not riding weather
