If you REALLY wanna go for it, I know where to get some big bore kits for the 110. I've seen a 132cc, a 148 and a 151. I've seen water cooled top ends too.Major Redneck wrote:i was checking the mid run 25-35mph pickup when this happend i pushed it a few blocks home remember no pipe so i shut it down...
the clutch felt good much better than the stock,,, variator seemed noisyer than the Dr Pulley sliders i had in the stock variator,,, everything is running much smoother than with the stock,,, im just working on the spring part and finding the right fit for the power of the 110...
but now i have a pipe that i might have to do tuning on the carb and air again,,, well see once its back in the shape of a scooter...
after dropping the engine i have noticed the rear strut is all look,,, so who knows of a better one,,, as well as fork??? any hits there??? i wonder if the Rattler will ever see a larger jug kit??? 148cc would fit the Rattler to a tee... some in japan maybe??? tales of a 123cc or 132cc???
see i gotz this invite to run with a bigdog (Wilson) and his "Mod" buddy at Charlotte Motor Speedway,,, iv got this Rattler and iv got a TGB,,, i might can take him with the tgb but the rattler "NO WAY" not stock... give me gears give he jugs give me something... and no i dont want 22 headlights or some old rock star making on my Rattler... i would let Danica Patrick do whatever she wanted to with it though... Go Daddy!!!
Heh, will do. I've got a PILE of "shouldfits" that I'll send ya. I just haven't posted them because I don't have a Rat to try them out on.... I've been working on a buncha mod parts for the Buddy 50's though, which I should be able to post as soon as they all show up and I can test them. I've got a Diamo thats got a China-built Minarelli Horizontal thats the same as the Buddy 50's engine. I've even got the top end from a Buddy 50 on it right nowbigbropgo wrote:now that is talk i understandthere is so much stuff out there that everyone is willing to sell you. i have sent quite a few emails out about products. everyone is a pro and tell me " yea sure it fits" but as i start to ask questions and look a little closer, i think they are quoting some cataloger sent to them in a dif language and they just want to make a sale. i'll see if i can find the info for you. i have it somewhere. the thing that worries me is tuning this motor to take flight and having the crank explode. if you want, pm me the link and i'll have a look. for some reason this has become a mini obsession. plus my work situation a changed a bit and suddenly i have a bit more time on my hands.
thanks.
My Diamo is one of the 20 or so models released as the 'retro'. Its basically a clone of a Honda Met. The previous owner ran it outa oil and killed the piston, so they gave it to me for freebigbropgo wrote:i have a diamo sport deluxe 150. i have to admit i have spent to much time on totalruckus. every time i look at that scoot i think,"that would make a great swap motor".thanks for the links. i have prob posted to many what ifs already. but it has been fun digging this stuff up. i need to pull some stuff together and start the first MB build thread. (for this sub-forum anyway). thanks again.

Are you certain that the bell fully covers the clutch shoes?
I didn't change the default pillow angle & I also didn't measure it. Pillow springs are optional.Major Redneck wrote: ...
