New member, new Rough House

Post by meaty »

Hi all, short time lurker, first time poster...I found this site after much googling about the Rough House 50. Tomorrow, if all goes well, I will be a proud new owner of a scooter!

I live in Minneapolis, MN, and have been a bicycle commuter for a few years now...and I'm thinking a scooter will be a practical way to make longer trips around town, and for commuting, without relying on my girlfriend's car all the time.

So hello for now and I hope to meet other MBers (and their wheels) around town!

Woot! Us Roughy/Ratt riders are the minority around here, it's always good to have one more in our fold of black sheep.

I cannot tell you how stoked I am that we are adding one more to our pack. The RH50 is a great bike. Derestriction and an exhaust pipe with an expansion chamber will make your bike move like you wont believe.

Be careful with those dual purpose tires on ashpalt though.

Just logging in to say that my new Roughhouse is great! I couldn't be happier with the purchase. 60 miles over the weekend and counting. De-restriction will be happening at the end of this week, and I can't wait!

you have to think cheaper parts
i dont know what the gearing is in th rough house but you can get to 60 with top performace trophy kit touring pipe and stock carb on a zuma

when it comes time for the engine upgrades dont limit yourself to what you see for the rough house or the pgo

for the bbks look at the zuma stuff there are over 70 diffrent kits for the hm engine and over 100 diffrent pipes some you may have to adjust the brackets for your bike but they are way better then the prima pipe in the sw catalog
