Tire recommendations?

Post by Scalpel »

I'm looking for my first set of replacement tires, and not sure what to pick up. I've been looking at the tires over at the Motorcycle Superstore tire finder tool, and they seem to have a decent selection of 120 and 130 tires for the Rattler/Rough House. I'm looking for some good street tires that have decent wet weather grip and aren't so soft that they'll wear out instantly. I don't ride off-road at all, and my wife suggested that my aggressiveness on the corners probably warrants street tires.

Any suggestions?

These Michelins look interesting, if you can get past the name: http://www.scootertronics.com/michelintires.html

I have no personal experience with them, but they are available in the correct sizes F/R.

I just put a pair of Michelin Booper Scooter Tires on my Rough House and they are awesome. Ultra smooth ride for streets and they corner nicely. The price was good too!
