gear oil

which one is good for everyday ride?

royal purple (ok price)
amsoil (expensive)
maxima (reasonably priced)
lucas (really cheap)

Any of them, of the proper weight, changed at the proper frequency, will be fine. Really!

One important warning is to not overfill the gearbox. If you do, gear oil will end up all over the rear tire when underway.

I can vouch for the amsoil, i have run it in all my toys and never had a problem.

+1 on the Amsoil. And no more than 90cc when you fill up. The vent hole is on the tire side of the transmission, if you overfill it the extra lube leaks all over the side of your rear wheel. NOT where you want it :oops: Worst part is it leaks down the side right above the drain plug, makes it look like your drain plug is the culprit :oops: X2 when it's not at fault.

or what can i use to measure 90cc?
