This must be a brand new product. If been watching out for something like this. I'm interested in the fit, let us know. I emailed the company that weezy got his gears from. On there site they have listed final gearing for the 50 and the 110. But they have the same part number. I got a reply in under 24 hrs claiming they fit.

yea i had seen that as well same part number... we are not looking to use the 50cc if its restricted in any way for that... we where talking about hitting the ton mark today now with the very large hole for air to flow... but we got to have the right gearing... as well as we are looking into an indepented "dude" to maybe have an pipe made for a powerband in the 7k rpm range,,, this is still just talk... once we get the intake and his 30mm carb on it well give us a better idea about what needs to be done to the engine next... we need gears,,, we both have power now thats just wasted... my top speed downhill with the wind to my back is 75mph and the engine was past its peek it was the large hill that made it hit that speed... if i had a clutch to pull in it would have hit 90mph going down that hill but engine was holding it back,,, need gears...

MR, is the "30mm" figure the carb bore size you plan to run, or is it the OD of the carb mount?

im going to run a 30mm mrp chrome roundslide. $90 shipped Manual choke and adjustable main jet. no more drilling jets to dial her in. MR is going to run a 32mm roundslide mikuni a had laying around. We both also have nitrous coming our way. should be here next week. We will be the first to hit the ton on a 110. or just blow up a few jugs trying.

ran a 30mm mikuni on this intake and it was just too big. This motor doesn't have enough gulp to slam the throttle. hours of jetting and off idle any more than 28 will just be too much. widening the transfer ports may help. bottom line stock cylinder will not run right with a 30. besides off idle throttle slamming it ran great 55mph 1/8 to 1/4 throttle. 71 ind wide open.
after 3 sec of nos hit 78 ind then pop goes the piston not rich enough for the nos. that was a 1.6mm main jet and 100 octane. needs smaller carb

Good luck with the ton-up! I've been trying on my Buddy, but 88mph is the fastest I can get it with stock gears.

vespatech's piston and rings looked great... what had happend was the reed came apart... maybe that cold Nos or high rpms who knows... he broke down the engine today and we are investagting getting main bearings as well as bearings for the rear gears...

Looks great Weezool, did you measure the inner diameter of the intake runner, & if so, what is it?

the rattler 110 mount bolt is closer than the 50. the notch needs to be lengthened down towards the base 3mm or so

after major modding of the intake i was able to get the intake to mount to the engine... i had to grind a hole about the size of a nickel,,, fill it in with J B Weld and form it to fit the bolt...

about twice as much power as stock... still need gears... stock cable is a little short... still have fine tuning to do but all in all a good upgrade...

after rejetting the jets even the idle jet,,, it needs larger carb. it runs strong but there is still room for more... still chicken to hit the Nos just yet... let me get the carb right if i can with the prima pipe...

after finding out that the bolt rubbed a hole in the JB Weld on the intake,,, i did my 4th grinding... JB Weld and try it again... if it does not work this time we have another option we worked up with the spacer... and yes a new intake...

Image

Image

that is just how much off the 110 rattler is off (on mine anyway) vs. the 50 rattler intake...
