Cylinder bought it - most likely oil injector quit

Based on the extra metal bonded to my spark plug, I am guessing my cylinder has bought the farm.
I am assuming that the 400+ miles of trailering & resulting flooding problems somehow messed up the oil injector and it stopped injecting oil
Plan right now? - new cylinder & anything else needed to get it going again & take the oil injector out of the loop & just pre-mix.
This really sucks - I have had more trouble with my Rattler in the last two weeks than I have had in two years

That really sucks. I always wondered if you could pull the oil hose from the intake and use the electric start to see if oil comes out. Sounds like a simple test, just not sure if its really that easy. On a side note, jiangwayne.com still has the bws big bore on sale.
I have stopped wondering if this will happen to me. Just when will it happen.

its really really rare that the oil pump fails-its the same design for 45 years-tried and true-plug looks a little lean
btw if you want my rat110 cylinder and piston let me know

my new cycle guy says... probably didnt fail... but could have gotten clogged up with something - wont know until he tears it apart
He has even seen a small scrap of the foil from the cap seal on the 2T oil bottles clog up injectors -
He says after that much trailer time, there is no telling what bounced loose & ended up clogging up the oil injector

that plug only had about 10 miles on it

ususlly if lack of oil-you will see entire skirt of piston scored-
overheating is a 4 corner seizure
detonation is top of piston and spark plug metal transfer
still looks lean to me-maybe air leak at base gasket or exhaust flange?

I have no idea.... I guess we will find out when we pull it apart
