Missing bolt

I was going over my R50 on Friday and discovered what seems to be a missing bolt. Right where the kick start is and just to the left is what I am sure is an empty hole that a bolt used to occupy. Does anyone know what the bolt is for, other than a retainer. Also the size and length so I can get it replaced. I would go to my dealer but by the time I get home at night he's closed. I don't like the idea of missing parts especially screws and bolts.

Is it to the CVT cover or the airbox? Neither will do permanent damage but should be replaced.
Early on in ownership, checking bolts is a part of pre-flight inspection.

Its the CVT cover. I normally give things a quick once over which is how I found the missing bolt.

The bolt in question has been replaced and this points out the location from whence it came out. Its just behind the kick start. For anyone's reference its a 10mm bolt about 2" in length. Its now held in place by blue loctite.
I did notice before the new bolt went in there was a whistling noise at WOT, since the replacement the noise has gone away.
