Seafoam

Post by Raiderfn311 »

I tried seafoam in my 2-stroke 50cc and it started bogging down the engine. I had to pump the tank and start clean to get it to fire right. Anybody else have bad experiences like this? I hear its great for carbon build-up but didnt run right for me.

Did you follow the instructions on the container. Because mine said fresh fuel and a certian amount to mix with or less. if you add too much you will be trying to burn a cleaner not fuel.

+1 its just a few oz per gallon. But its not a miracle worker either. Might have to just pull the Carb apart, clean it and see. Keep us posted.
