RoughHouse won't start

Post by MK9999 »

Hey. I bought a used 2008 roughhouse that is getting gas and spark but wont start. It does crank fine, but won't fire even with starting fluid. I took a look at the CDI and the one that is on it looks like a 4 stroke 5 prong plug CDI. I know the plug on the scooter has 6 wires. Anyone know if the CDI on a Roughhouse has 6 prongs or 5?

Second question is how would I order parts online for this? I can't find a good site.

Thanks in advance!

scooterloungeonline.com and scooterworks.com are great places for parts.

Did you check the kill switch to make sure it's in the "on" position?

Yeah that damn switch gets me all the time. Its the one on the throttle side.

It doesn't get spark without the kill switch on. I am really thinking that the previous owner bought the wrong CDI for it. Anybody know if there is a performance CDI that works for the 2008 roughhouse? Can you give me a link?
