I took some pictures of the before, during, and after of my project of the past couple of days. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

A little fun in the snow

The before pics

The imperfections pics

The tear down pics

I washed all the plastics with soap and water

Then wet sanded all the plastics with 600 grit sandpaper

After sanding all the parts, I rewashed them with soap and water to get all the left of sanding stuff off the parts.

The paint booth

The spice of the paint job

All the black parts have been cleared

Cant forget about the wheels

Putting the wheel back on for transportation

Back home for the rebuild

The final product minus the exhaust and a Stage6 riser for the rear shock

Thanks guys! Ya I thought I might put them into a powerpoint and make a YouTube video or something so I tried to take as many as possible haha

I have seen some and they are cool to watch. Do it man. Cool project and thanks for the pics. The rats and RH are neglected when it comes to custom work.

I know! I can't hardly find info for parts for these thing anywhere! Especially the 110s. I did finally get the pipe painted for this little dude and I took a couple of pics of that so I could post that up too. I also ordered a riser to raise the rear end a bit.

It wont be much but it'll make me feel cooler haha

Finally getting the pipe pictures uploaded

I wet sanded both pieces with the left over sand paper from the body prep and then got to painting

Then when I was trying to tighten up all the bolts...

But it was nothing a pair of pliers couldn't handle

Ok so we have a couple of problems. First off, the riser they sent me was the wrong one so after trying to make it fit for 30 minutes I finally realized that one. Second off, I tried to start the scooter this morning and it was a big no go. I turned the key and the gauge and brake light came on like normal but when I hit the start button there was no reaction. Like zero, not even a click or anything. I didn't think to try to kick it as I have a truck so I just drove that to class, but I'm really lost on what the problem could be. So the question is, did I leave a connection unplugged or is there actually something wrong here? Let me know what y'all think!

I had a gy6 that was dead. The ground had pulled out of the little tab that is screwed to the frame.

Haha ya I mostly just do short campus rides so I might just lose the mirrors all together.

And with the grounding thing, it ended up being the plug for that whole throttle assembly came unplugged. So that was a simple fix, it just took a second to figure it out. I'd rather it be something like that over something that cost money though! Haha

Holy crap! This is almost EXACTLY what I had pictured in my head as my epic color scheme to paint my RH...unfortunately with little money, no paint booth, and no paint knowledge/skill, this would be near impossible for me to do. However kudos to you, beautiful job!

Ya I bought a cheap paint gun thinking that I was going to do it myself. Then I started researching how to paint and I began to learn how difficult it actually is soooo I ended up spending about $300 on paint and a case of beer on a local painter and now it looks like it looks haha.

I'm still planning on learning how to paint this summer when I get out of classes and stuff so maybe the next job will be one of my own creations!
