Yes sir it did run fine before van ride.i loaded it up standing upright not laying down. DroveApprox. 80 miles unloaded no start. When I pulled plug it had hint of gas smell. Do I need to turn over b4 installing new plug. I checked for spark .its good. Installed it still no fire.

so youre saying it started up when you used the kick?
have you tried starting it today??
maybe it just needed to chill out and let everything settle, i know my scoot has issues starting up if its even parked on too much of an incline

So the question has to be asked. Did you flick the kill switch to the ON position?

Here's a couple of things to try and should be easy to do. First loosen the gas cap to make sure you don't have to much pressure built up inside the gas tank, remove the air filter and spark plug. Let sit over night, replace spark plug and try starting. If this fails use a little squirt of Starting Fluid sprayed into the carb. If you still have spark the Starting Fluid should give it some hint of turn over.

And have you done all your maintenance? Air, fuel filters changed on a regular basis? If these get 'gummed' up it will reduce fuel/air flow and make for hard starting.

If all else fails you might want to try shooting some starter fluid into your carb and see if it at least starts with a kick.
