Ok... so my rattler is only 20 days old... I just put gas in for the 2nd time.
Whats the deal with the gas cap... do you need to turn the actual cap to open it?
when you turn the key does it release the "lock" on it & you just lift it out?

To lock it, do you just push it down or do you have to turn it.... seems like I can turn mine all the way around.

Maybe I am just not smart enough to work a gas cap.... but I dont want to screw it up.

Mine has an arrow on the cap that lines up with a mark on the scooter. Doesn't seem to like to go on any other way.

line up the arrows, turn the key to the right (which releases it) then pull out. to put back in I put the gas cap in its place turn the key and place it. next time you get a chance pull the cap off and turn the key while the cap is in your hand. you will notice the simple mechanism that occurs and you can get a good idea on how to put the cap back in instead of forcing it.
