Anyone had this problem?
I put the rollers, pipe, and clutch spring on about two months ago. The problem I'm having is that the big washer-looking nut that keeps the clutch spring compressed keeps coming off. I put Loc-tite on it and that kept it on for about a month, but it just recently came off again. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had this problem, and if so, what you did about it.

I just did the same upgrade on my Roughhouse last Thursday. So, I don't know yet if I have or will have that problem. Are you getting some lag on the low end? I have no low-speed right now. 0-5 mph it barely moves, then it shoots off like a rocket. It's really annoying when waiting in line at stop signs. I haven't lost any off the top end (somewhere between 55-60 indicated, speedo only goes up to 50), which is a good thing.

That's kinda odd. Make sure it's all the way and maybe use stronger locktite. It gets really hot around the clutch so some of the lower temp locktite may be melting and just end up lubricating the nut to spin off. When I had more minarelli scoots I always kept a few spares around and did have one that the threads were just wrong on. No way it would go on. So maybe the threads on yours were just on the other end of the spec limit and have just worn enough when changing the spring.cmiller36 wrote:I put the rollers, pipe, and clutch spring on about two months ago.
