Rattler run-in with fresh asphalt

I had no other way to get home, the last block before my house had a construction orange sign that read, "Fresh oil. 10 MPH. Drive at your own risk" The street has been ground down for 2 weeks, and the huge bumps at the ends were no problem for the Rattler.

Great timing to be on the scooter today. Having no choice, I coasted slow with feet out, but my tires and wells were loaded with sticky asphalt, and packed into my treads. I figured oil was going to be my only worry. Is there anything you can recommend besides brake fluid to get that off? Luckily it didn't get onto anything else due to going so slow.

It came off the back tire just from riding around alot, but the front is too light. I used a dull spackle knife (on the tire, of course) to get it off. I would have driven on the sidewalk - if there was one.
