Gotta keep up with the Bimmer, so got me a '73 Honda CB750. It's an absolute beast. This will be my weekend / long trip bike. It's scarier than all hell and I'm loving it. I'm such a Honda girl, it's pathetic.

Hey krusty...
hold out for the Dream. I really love that bike (when I can get it away from the b/f). It gets tons of attention and is really lightweight and makes a great daily rider. This 750 weighs a freaking ton (well, 500 lbs, so a 1/4 ton) and I still haven't managed to get it on the center stand by myself.
I say, get a beautiful 305 and you'll have 'em all begging for rides. Plus, doing the work is easy, and you're so creative, you'll have a blast!

But… um…
Is that an R65 behind it?

c-zac ... I've been watching your cafe project. It sounds like a hoot! We're actually going to sell both the CB350s. I don't want to, but the garage is seriously crowded and they probably won't get ridden that much. One of the bikes actually has title!
ericalm ... it's a '71 R75/5. I got that for my Erik's birthday. When we went to pick it up, I rode the P down and the guy selling asks if he can take it for a ride. I said, Sure, have fun! He comes back with that big stupid grin on his face and I say, ahh, you know, you can buy a new one of these at Javaspeed. Later the next day, I get a phone call from the owner thanking me for the referral. So now I can say I bought a Stella as they guy took my money from the Beemer to buy it.
Hey, thanks poli ... I'm gonna head down to Philly with it at some point to visit my mom (and grab a real cheesesteak and some Famous 4th Street cookies, as they are the best cookies in the universe).
Got the bike all registered today so I'm out for a ride tonight!

If, by some cosmic coincidence, I ever win the lottery right before you decide to sell off all your worldly possessions and travel the world, I will fly out, hire a fleet of trailers, and take many of your 2 and 4-wheelers off your hands.

I saw a P1800 on the roadside out in the middle of nowhere when we were riding up the coast. Looked like it's been spray painted burgundy at some point, Whatever! My immediate thought was: Isn't this where you get insane deals on these sorts of things?Syd wrote:Dibs on the 1800.
I then had a little daydream about pulling over and getting it for $200 cash.

Give us a holler, and I'll make sure you've got a group of scooterists to ride 'round town with you.siobhan wrote:Hey, thanks poli ...
