It's amazing what a paint job and a few changes can do to really alter the character of the scooter. The Black Jack certainly looks more aggressive and tough, but the mate finish on the paint keeps it slick and sophisticated. It doesn't look like a rat; it's more like the Batscooter. Debadge it and ride it on all your ninja missions. I'm sure better pics will start popping up soon, but for now, dig 'em:
Overall, my impression was that this is a sexy beast. I think some current owners will want them, and I think they'll definitely appeal to motorcycle owners or others who haven't given scooters a serious look before.

Stopped by to see the BlackJack at Metro Scooter today, and it is SWEET. I didn't think I would like the matte black, but it does look good. But yep, it probably will show smudges and scratches.
just got my black jack yesterday. people love the matte finish on this - turns heads for sure. got the prima pipe. sounds legit. can't get enough of this. best purchase i've ever made (second, only to my macbook).

Not my thing, but the Black Jack is definately one sharp lookin' scoot.
I find it amusing that lately, it seems scooter companies are coming out with colors that are frequently used on custom painted scoots. People started painting their GTSs yellow and their LXs orange, and guess what the next availible colors are? Plenty of folks have done a matte black Buddy, and waddaya know? I wonder what the next trend will be...

I got my BJ a month after you did, and am loving it! You live in Los Angeles? I will keep an eye out for you.
Getting my Black Jack hopefully in October or November. Need to get my certification first, and the financial aid... one of the benefits of being a full time student. Don't have to pay back loans for 2 years 6 months, and I'll save enough in gas alone to pay back most of the loans.
