I love the pic of Toby's contortions. Bella is always looking like a twisted knot... I don't understand how her body get's in some of those positions.

As a volunteer at an animal shelter I am obligated to make a pitch: Please when considering a new pet check with your local animal shelter or rescue organization first. People looking for purebreds can find one at the species specific rescue shelters, and after a puppy mill raid many local shelters are full to the rafters with purebreds. This is not to mention the many great mixed breeds you can find at shelters. Also, apart from cats and dogs many shelters have rabbits, fish, birds, and ferrets in need of good homes.

We got 2 new kittens a month after we had to put our oldest cat, Delenn, to sleep. We went to the Humane Society, and found 2 kittens. Little boy is the black one and little girl is the tabby. We wait to name them until we get a chance to see their personalities. Looks like the little boy is going to be Mr. Garibaldi. I'm leaning toward Na'Toth for the little girl, but we're still pondering her name.

Sorry the pics are so big, I'm too tired to make them any smaller.

I am keeping the one labeled "Rowdy Rufferson" however his real name is Guido.
My mom started calling him torpedo since he always darts out of the house seemingly out of nowhere whenever anyone opens the door. He was
getting used to that name and would come when you said torpedo, so I wanted to name him something that sounded similar, hence "Guido".
I came up with that name from Guido Anchovy, my favorite Samurai Pizza Cat.

That tends to happen with a lot of animals, their eyes change color when they reach a certain age. Stinky (the white one) still has pretty icy-blue eyes.

Lots of adorable kitties. I have five (yeah, I know, I know, but I'm not the librarian in the household!). Below is Josiah OMalley. He was wandering the neighborhood for two weeks until I finally enticed him in, skin and bones and fleas and rotten tooth. I took him to get fixed and the vet told me he already was. Who tosses out their pet (a neutered cat is someone's pet at some point) onto the city streets? I've taken in four (2 of which are still alive) and it infuriates me that people would be so cruel.

OMalley is a gentle, sweet and loving boy who loves to lounge in front of the fire on cold winter nights or snuggle on my lap. He loves cardboard boxes and computer keyboards...he's an avid reader of various forums and IRC channels.

Those are great. That one of Beaux in the sink is priceless. My last cat would always get in the sink too, usually to drink,
but you could pour water on her and she didn't care. Some cats like it, some don't... I wonder why...

Here's my newest sweetie pie, Charlie, he sure is great!

A couple days after I brought him home from the shelter...

He likes to climb the apple & peach trees!

And roll in the leaves...

He also plays AIR GUITAR!!!

Artie (short for Artemis) and Kiki.

That's a giant 30" pizza box that Artie had decided was hers. She would not let Kiki on it. That's okay. He's kind of an a$$ to her most of the time anyway.
