Came up with an idea, OH Shoot, I was thinking again!!!!!
What is the 'typical' sight you see on your daily ride?
I'll post as soon as I find my camera.....
Aging is mandatory, growing up is optional.
My kids call me 'crazy', I prefer 'Eccentric'.
Nullius in verba
Well, only when we all three get to take a ride together... yet I see a view like this quite a bit with acception my wife and I had traded scooters for the moment as she wanted me to check something on her scoot! So for the first time I was looking at my scoot behind me!
That is the V3GAN in the background. She is an awesome rider - just running sag so we don't drop mom!

Wow, thanks for bumping! I just posted yesterday on my blog some pics on my regular commute as I was celebrating the first (very rainy) day of classes on my campus.
Cranston Street Armory -- featured recently in the Underdog movie
Believe it or not, this building is UNUSED, and it stretches the entire block. I'm also always playing with taking pics as I'm riding. Not so easy when wearing Rain-offs overgloves.
Why is no one using that building?!? That is cool! I really hate it when cool old building go vacant.
In Vegas, it doesn't really seem to matter if there's any history associated with the building. If the building goes vacant for too long, the city just implodes it and puts up something new.

There's quite a few huge buildings that really could go to something awesome in Phoenix that are completely empty, but that's mainly due to the economy. No body can afford to put anything in them There's a 60's or 70's bowling alley in Mesa that has been vacant for a few years now, and even if it's in a huge meth-haven, I'd STILL love to give it a shot. Would make a cool ...something...

Neo, are you talking about the old Country Club Lanes? Shame that place closed. This country needs more bowling alleys and fewer family bowling centers.

Because the referendum to renovate the building for state use was rejected by voters two years ago. If it was located in the rich neighborhood in Providence, it would be bustling. Sad, really, for a city that uses its architecture as a tourist draw.
We're starting to have cool nights (40's) and warm afternoons (80ish). This leads to foggy mornings. The scenery is beautiful. On a recent ride there was low lying fog over every hill and around every curve. This photo is very typical of what I have been seeing if I get off the highway. I don't need any more motivation than that to get on the county roads.
