Nice ride, and nice topcase too, is that the official genuine topcase that matches? Another question, what is protruding from underneath the front of the floorboard towards the ground?

that will be the oil cooler and the top case looks different maybe better. My wife had the old 1 it seemed cheap diffently not up to the Buddy standard

What is the seat material made from? Is it vinyl or cloth?

The seat is vinyl and the topcase is actually a Soft brand topcase. Very nice fit and finish.

Actually, at least on the 150s, the battery box is in front of the oil cooler and sticks down a bit farther. Which is a Good Thing.

Would they have moved everything on the 170?

Beautiful! I'm jealous! I thought I'd like the green/tan the best but when I saw them "in person" at Scoot Richmond I fell completely for the silver like yours. It's a beaut!

Love the chocolate, too. The green is not at all unattractive but I like the silver and chocolate/cream the best when you seem them "live."

Congratulations! Love the topcase, too.

Nice scooter and picture!! I just got a silver one also. Waiting for it to get delivered . How do you like it? This is my first scoot and i am looking for a short winter so i can start rideing it!!!.

It's the cooler on the 170. It's definitely in a weird spot if you ask me, but I suppose they had nowhere else to put it. It's not like you have much clearance anyway, with the center stand

Fast. I was just about to hit the 1500-mile officially broken in point when I crash-landed on my hand. I only have Lokky's Stella to compare to, but my 170 is super quick off the line even with us two-up on it. I'm getting 75mpg, even while he's been using it to cart me around while my hand heals, two up... and I'm not light. Before the official break in point, I could ease up close to WOT and get 70 indicated, which is between 60 and 65 GPS mph. It's got a lot of pull and pep.

I'm getting to jump back on mine today, I'm excited as hell. Congrats Cleoh!

So, I can easily finance one. I do need a bigger bike (my 50cc Zuma rocks, but it simply is not meant for 45+, even if I modded it) and it seems like the 170i will get just as good gas mileage. Dammit!

Everything but common sense and financial responsibility tells me to get the Green one. I'm more of a black (even the silver is awesome!) wearing person; old skool goth guy. But, the green one is so awesome in an odd way that I love it.

They also have stupid good deals during the winter....
