dig the mirrors. I have to do a twisty dance to get my buddy out of the side door of my garage because of the mirrors. But money is tight so no awesome stuff for the buddy for right now.....but soon, yessssss ssssoooonnn.

May have to experiment with what will fit on the 50s wheels.
I like whitewalls so when I replaced my tires, I went with a 3.5x10 Prima whitewall from scooterlounge. They fit fine in the front and rear but i did need to rotate the front fender back because it would rub under hard braking. Grip was good in when dry. Scooter was stolen before I had a chance to test it in the rain.
Also, thanks for the link. I want to switch to those grips--they look a lot more comfortable than the stock ones. Any tricky mods to make the grips work? I thought there was supposed to be a groove to attach the throttle cable.

Nope. Easiest is to cut the old ones off.
Cheap hairspray is the ticket for the install - I like AquaNet . A shot inside each grip helps them slide on easily. When the hairspray dries it helps to lock the grips in place.
