My son (20 years old) and I picked up a black Buddy 170i today after 5 years of riding a Buddy 50.
Riding outside the bike lane all the time is nice. Wow. We are both super happy with the 170i.
How long did you ride your Buddy 50 before upgrading?
(I still love the 50, it got me back into scooting).

I too 'shared' a 50cc Honda Met with my older son for about two years before I 'upgraded' to a Buddy 150. And about a year after that he got himself a 600cc Yamaha.
Aging is mandatory, growing up is optional.
My kids call me 'crazy', I prefer 'Eccentric'.

I rode a 50cc motorized bicycle for about 4 years before buying my Buddy 125. I've been riding the 125 for 5 years.

I think there are about a dozen of us in California with a motorcycle license for our 50cc scoots, but it is required.

Had a Buddy 50 for year. Then a Black Jack. 6 months later a Royal Enfield. 8 years later, I still have the Black Jack and Enfield.
