Modern Buddy

Hey there MB!
Let me introduce my girl Emma Peel. I don't know why it took me so long; I was a photographer in a former life, then again this might be why... ( and well you'd never know from the photos either!)

I adore Mrs. Peel, she is one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Scootering, driving a motorcycle is one of the best things in life.
Now I only wish that I had figured this out sooner!

Mrs. Peel has just about 1800 miles, stock engine, chrome bits, silverstar's, dead lights = turn signals (thinking about making them running lights too), grips, Prima bag and a new Formotion spot clock. Consider these before photos, she's got a Dr.s appointment!
And I've had her one year and 7 days but who's counting!, bought her at Philadelphia Scooters... These Guys Rock!

And yeah, I'd like to send a little shout out to the folks at PGO and Genuine for bringing us a such a fun and dependable ride. Emma, my Pamplona fits my body pretty well in terms of our weight, strength and height ratios, even though I'm only 5'2" and 130-5 lbs atgatt. I can only hope that PGO/Genuine keep the vertically challenged in mind while they design the rumored 250, especially because I lust after the old Lambretta's!... but I prefer spending my time collecting miles; I just want to go (and get back) without ANY Drama!

...But Oh what a long sweet ride it could be on a long low Genuine PGO 250! MMM, with bigger wheels, a narrower saddle seat (split seat option?!), chrome, 2-tone, 4 stroke, fuel injected, kick And electric, just in case... upgraded electrical for LED's and Heated grips, locking glove box...

Emma's a 2008 150... pretty certain it's a stock pipe.

2 weekends ago I got pretty close to 80 bmh downhill!

pretty darn well put I have them on my helmet, so far I havnt been hit, I ride alot at night 2nd shift work . so thanks alot. I thought the 150cc had the same pipe as the 125cc so just curious, you seem to fit your bike pretty well Im 6' 4" which is fine but its my boat size feet that I have trouble with. I actually hit 70bph last night you take it easy on those hills

Thanks loodie, the trim is the V shaped edge trim available at most auto parts stores. It's been on since June or July of 2008 and no trouble yet. I got the idea right here on MB.

Hey Krusty, thanks. I looked high and low for a Brown leather jacket with some venting, removable liner, pockets for armour and Stripes. I was seriously considering a custom Vanson, they'll do Anything! but with a $500-600 price tag I was hesitant to pull the trigger. Then I finally came across the PowerTrip Santa Cruz. Not the quality of a Vanson, but it's nice enough and I have no complaints. You can find it here:

Make sure they are for 7/8 bars. He has red, black and blue. I've had them on for just about a year now... excellent!

What temperatures is it good for?
In your picture, are you wearing it w/ or w/out armor?
What size do you wear (I think we would be around the same size.)
Does that size give you enough room to wear something under it - like a hoody?

I've worn the jacket at 45 to 75, maybe 80, not sure. It's been very comfortable; though it did take a bit of time to break in. It comes with an insulated vest liner and there are vents in the upper sleeves and on the back, and they do help. On a hot summer day at a light in the sun, not so good.

I am wearing a size small with Knox Shockless CE in the shoulders, Knox CE KFP1 in the elbows and a thin CE pad in the back and yes, I do have room for a thin/medium long sleeved flannel or fleece and the liner.

I'm 5'2" 125 LBS. +-. I wear 29w x30 levis 505; in the photo I've got Carhartt boys size 16 fleece lined jeans on, a small or medium blouse/ shirt, depends... almost a 36 with a tape measure.

DennisKirk is pretty easy to deal with on exchanges, so don't let that stop you from checking it out.
Plus the jacket liner is leopard print... Suprise!
Plus the jacket is cheaper today than it was when I bought it!
