Half as impressive as siobahn, but I finally had a camera at the right time!
That's still 11,111 times what I had on it when I first got it!
It's now apparent I need to polish the plastic speedo cover... anybody know the best way to do that?

If it helps any, that honestly looks like it's just a drastic lighting issue between the two photos. Beyond that...maybe a soft cloth used dry?

I'm right behind ya KB. I should roll 6k miles today or tomorrow. Unfortunately I am at work this morning building (the photos) for an annual report for a health care facility. Right now it is 60 deg outside with an 11 mph northerly breeze. I NEED to ride today to destress.

Hey Krusty, or anyone. I highly recommend Novus brand of plastic polish. Their No. 1 plastic cleaner an polish is what I used when I worked in a picture framing shop and had to clean plexiglass. It works well, is easy to do without streaks. I would use a cotton cloth with it, old cotton t-shirts work well. They also have a no. 2 and a no. 3 which are more abrasive for scratch removal. They used to sell it at the container store, but I have also seen it at motorcycle shops.

I had to ride 60 miles today to hit it. I needed the de-stressing.

Of course, don't you?? Perhaps you don't understand... the real fun in riding a scooter is going to the gas station ever 30 minutes, and showing off to everyone that it only costs $1 to fill your tank.
No, I was just on my way home, and filled up with gas before I got there, I think it's so annoying to have to go to the gas station BEFORE I want to head out.

I haven't been riding like I used to, as I've been sick off and on all summer. Sigh. But! I've been riding in this Nor'easter, and it's madness. MADNESS! It's actually kinda invigorating.

Just weights and springs. 1500 rpm clutch and main springs. I originally went with 11g sliders, have 12g right now, but might be going back to 11g.

Well I am sure these get old but I too hit 1k this week... actually over 1100 as we speak. Weather has turned and I am riding like crazy for almost everything. Have tripled the miles of the two previous owners which over 2 1/2 years was like 460, AND I got it in Sept as a gift right after the 500 mile checkup so did ride during winter. And thanks to the MB community here I have done most excellent mods to lights and such because of your wonderful tutorials and input!

Not the 14K Howard has in Tucson (although I can't think of a better place to ride that many miles!) yet we just hit 1K in Dallas today on our St Tropez!
The sun is shining and looking like an awesome weekend coming up!

Newbie here: My wife and I picked up our Buddy 125's on Friday. She got pink, I got tangerine. I swung into the mall to snap this pic on our first outing. So far having a blast! I'll post an official introduction later.
