I was out on the road, so I didn't post this at the time. This was on my last "MI way" ride back in August.
I just hit all 1s on the odometer, just east of Britton MI. To be a complete geek, I tried to go an extra 58 feet and 8 inches past 11,111.1, so that it would be 11.1111111111.... kilomiles.

Apologies for the picture quality, but winter and darkness have crept up on me.

Ok, so I'm a bit crazy, I know that. I planned my 10k odometer reading to happen at work. My Buddy is my commuter bike and my commute is 4 miles each way. So either I work waaaay too much or those "I'm taking the long way home" days really racked up the miles.
Buddy St. Tropez 150
Harkins Hall, the original College building. To get this pic, I had to get permission from Security to ride the scoot on campus (I have a parking spot just inside a side gate which doesn't require riding on campus).

Lots of long ways home in RI, that's for sure. (I used to like Billy Donovan too, before he went to argh, Florida.)

^ I just hit 123,456 in my VW Wagon on my way to work today! Didn't get a picture though, I was running a wee bit late.
Remember this?

So you "old timers" (yeah, I hate that term as well!) remember what it was like when you first fell in love.
My lucky number is 7, and the DH's is 8, so I picked this one out of three at the dealer.

I missed 13131.3 the other day, but had the presence of mind to snap this at the movie theater yesterday.
Out of curiosity, I figured out how much time in the saddle that adds up to. Assuming an average speed of 30mph, that works out 18.25 days of non-stop riding.

Just starting out really, but Herman Cain would be proud.

I WISH it were the Pinkster's! I could've had a lot more miles if I wasn't determined to be totally bionic by the time I die!

Holy cow, BoneGirl! I don't know which is more incredible. Heard anything from Phil? Hahahaha!
Congratulations on both achievements BoneGirl, you are an inspiration, and not just to Buddy owners.

Awww, shucks Syd!
Made me blush. I talked to Phil while I was recuperating with this last hip. I was down in the dumps because this one was harder than the first and I couldn't ride for 3 months. Scootering has become such a passion for me and I love every minute I'm on that thing!

My beloved Stella scooter came home 2 years ago Labor Day weekend and this Labor Day I hit 3000 miles. Doesn't seem like much until you consider that it is a slightly underpowered, non-highway capable "pleasure" vehicle that competes with my countless other interests and obligations in a cold weather region.

Y'know, it seems that the higher the mileage you get, the fewer cool odo readings you see.
I neglected to post this one from a month ago, which was around the time my Buddy 50 was starting to make the noises that would lead to having a top-end rebuild (the first major non-maintenance work I've had done on him).
