After a week, I decided to take a spin around the block. I did it!!! I feel a little uptight, but I will soon feel looser. Got a lot of smiles and waves in the neighborhood. It was fantastic.

Really like the White Buddy. Just saw one at the Dealer last weekend. That would be my choice if they had it in 2007. Congratulation on the new scooter. Many wonderful days are acomin! Keith

You've had your Buddy for a whole week without riding it?!

I rode mine around the neighborhood the second I got it home, I was psyched!
The white one is super nice lookin' too, hope you have as much fun with yours as I have with mine.

She's beautiful and you've got that ScooterSmile!

Have you looked into getting an armored jacket and gloves?

I acquired an Olympia armored jacket and gloves that give me lots of confidence when riding. I really spent like 2 weeks searching for my ideal jacket. I LOVE my Airglide Olympia. I am using boots, but they do not feel comfortable, so now i am using very hard walking tennis shoes.

I never rode a scooter in my life and I am 62. My parts don't come cheap if they come! So, I am more careful about my hardware than the scoot's.
You will know what i mean when you get to my age. I had to bring all of my courage for the first lone ride around the block with no coaching or advise....

NOTE:
I have been quoting the wrong entries, in ebey case I was referring to the previous entry than that quoted! The
"quote" pistion keeps misleading me.

Good Job on getting out there! I took a motorcycle safety foundation course to learn how to ride. It was invaluable, and I highly recommend it. Enjoy yourself out there and ride friendly!
