The photo scavenger hunt is back!
EVERYONE is invited to play!

This hunt runs from 6/22 to midnight on 7/3

Points will be awarded as follows:
Your scooter with a Fire Truck = 5pts
+1 point for each additional Fire Truck in the photo
+2 points for each fireman in the photo
+1 point for the first photo submitted
+2 points if the emergency lights are lit up (headlights alone dont count)
+5 points if there is a dalmatian in the photo
+5 points if the photo features a fire truck in use putting out something on fire (I do NOT recommend starting your neighbor’s house on fire just so you can get the 5 bonus points)

Please total your own points & include your total in your post with your photo.

Note: these need to be new photos - not pics you have already taken - the idea is to get everyone doing the same thing during the same week

We are off and running! Let’s see those pics of scooters with Fire Trucks
All submissions must be posted by July 3rd at midnight (in your own time zone)

 yea, fortunately for this tag I have "access" and know a few people. Should be cool to see everyones photos!

*Bonus points if you're holding a "halligan" in the picture! If not real points, it'll look badass.

Excellent point. That will cause your home-owner's insurance rates to go up. Start the house fire in someone else's neighborhood.

Yeah... its been over 3 years since we did that one & I figured it should be an easy one to get everyone started

& yeah.... I am assuming BSFF will have the best possible 20 guy, burning house, 5 truck, lights flashing photo this week.... wouldn't we all be disappointed in anything less? No pressure.

My neighbor's name is Horrigan. Can I get the bonus points if I hold his wife?

I am not aware of anyone getting turned away but I believe there have been a few pics taken in a hurry followed by a quick exit

best time to get a good shot is usually in the morning just after shift change. For us shift change is 7am, so the rig is out front getting a once over sometime between 7:30 and 9am, but we leave the doors open most of the day. Just ring the doorbell and you'll probably get a welcome response (except late in the evening). If your hometown is volunteer, you may have a hard time. Most volunteer stations are unstaffed and people only show up (from home) when a call is dispatched.

and the more doors on a station, more trucks behind those doors.

When it's 115, I may have to start a fire to get a truck out of the station! But I keep looking.

Does an ambulance count? If so, that's 10, not bad. I just realized after the fact that I should've turned on the lights. Oh well.

Engine and Medic 102, and that's a halligan bar I'm holding up

Woke up this morning and it was cloudy and not hot (yet). So I made my way to Tempe Fire Station No1 and took this:

Aw man, I was on my way to Alabama to pick up some fireworks and we passed a fire station where the engine was out & they were testing the sprayer, it was awesome. I was wishing I had my scoot, but I brought my sister & her kids along...

That would have been a great pic, Krusty. But there's still time to get a less-than-great pic submitted!

I was going to get the tag and as soon as I pulled out of the culdesac it started to rain. It was thundering all day so I didn't think much of it, but then there was lightning & rain so I chickened out. probably get it tomorrow.

I see this just after there was a four alarm fire in Hillcrest (San Diego) next to an Italian restaurant that has a vintage Vespa on display outside. There were literally eight trucks out there.

Good looking photos, everyone.

Too bad for the restaurant/Vespa. Don't let that discourage you from participating in the Current Hunt
