We picked up our new Grom on Friday!!
It's a fun ride fo' sho. I just have to re-train my motorcycle muscles. I haven't had to clutch/shift in a while.
Now my husband and I can ride together, 125cc Hooligan style.

looks like the Psycho is ready to take a bite out of that little tyke
what an awesome and fun 'lil bike, hope you have plenty of good times with it terrorizing parking lots, playgrounds, abandoned warehouses, and back trails unknown 'til now
wheelie down Main Street? oh...you bet!!

So far the Psycho is beating it off the line, but knowing my husband as I do I am sure he won't let that stand much longer

I could look this up, but I'll be lazy
- do you know what the dry weight of the Grom is? Just wondering how it compares to a scoot in that way because the other dimensions are so similar, from looking at your pics.
Also, saw one posted on ADVRider yesterday where the new owner had already 'skinned' it white with some body panels he ordered online. I am not a big fan of the angular, "rice rocket" look of most modern bikes, but the Grom is toned down enough that it is actually pretty cool looking.

I think the Grom is one whole pound lighter than my scoot! (219lbs I think)
My power to weight ratio is my advantage

Cool. I think we will be seeing a lot of those Groms on the suburban streets soon. The name reminds me of that Claymation dog named Grommet.

suburban streets, or I-495 the "Capital Beltway" as my friend Kevin takes his Grom on now. He gets on the barely traveled HOT lanes and pegs out the throttle at about 60 for the trip around. Good times, sweet looking bike!
