I didn't cut it myself. I had it cut professionally by a plexiglass shop down in San Diego since the bike was down at Vespa Motorsport.

Originally I was going to have it cut by a shop here in L.A. They cut with a band saw and then sand the edges so that they have a factory finish. Other local options were laser cutting or water jet cutting. At least a couple of folks here on the forum have cut their windshields at home.

The final height is 195 mm on centerline. For the top, I asked the shop model the shape of the original top. It's not an exact modeling, since the windshield tapers as it rises. I didn't change the taper, but had them retain the shape of the corners to match the original shape, which I thought was nicely styled.

It came out pretty good! And I'm happy with it.

I am also using bar end mirrors. How does the right side of the scree attach to the original mirror mount as the right side is reverse thread. I will be getting the screen in the spring

The windshield brackets are attached to stand-offs that screw into the mirror mounts. One of the standoffs is reverse threaded.

Love the pipe. Brushed stainless steel or titanium? I can see one on my Blackjack!

The open CVT case looks cools as well, although for some reason they make me nervous. Like I would be concerned about a boot lace or something getting sucked into the variator or clutch. On the other hand, I do not have the same concern about something getting sucked into the chain of my motorcycle.

Thanks. I am very pleased with the way it looks!
It's also lighter and has better clearance than any of the other aftermarket pipes, NCY or Prima (the reason for getting it).

I might eventually need to get another fan cover. My mechanic broke the current one, and it's now only held on by two of the three screws. The plastic ring on the cover for the third screw is cracked. :(

Because I have the Ruima 4-valve head on the engine, the header pipe on my scooter is custom install. (The 4V head is taller than ether the stock Buddy 125 or 150/170i heads, so even the NCY pipe that I had previously had to have a custom header pipe in order to fit.) You could send Todd an email ([email protected]). I'm sure he would be happy to quote you. Todd's not the one who broke the fan cover. LOL :)

That's a pretty cool scoot' alright!
My only concern is that you really shouldn't vent the crankcase to the atmosphere. I imagine that there's an oily mess forming under your seat where the tank is presently venting as well.
Keep up the mod's!

The crankcase 'vent', in this case, is an oil return line. The valve cover vent vents to the oil catch can which returns the collected oil to the crank case.

On my Blackjack, I only used a crankcase (oil fill) vent to relieve excess oil pressure (without the valve cover vent). In that case the crank case vent was acting as a high pressure oil pressure release vent. In the current setup it is a low pressure oil return line.

But there is vapor coming from the crankcase from blowby. It appears to be venting to the atmosphere if it is not introduced into the engine intake as originally designed by PGO.
