I have wanted a Genuine Stella since 2004 when a guy I know ordered one online and had to go pick it up a few states away. Unfortunately, with getting married, buying a home, going to college, and having a daughter over the course of the last 4 years I never had the means to go and pick one up (nearest dealer is about 300 miles away) so I had to just wait.
About a year ago a guy named Jake opened his own scooter shop in town and picked up Genuine. Then we heard about the initial 300 that were being brought in October and were only going to certain dealers. We tried like hell to get one since October. Going back and forth and back and forth with the dealer rep. trying to get one by any means possible. That obviously didn't work out and we were told they would be shipping out begging of May. So I resolved to wait til May.
Now it's the beginning of June and we just barely got it due to "shipping" delays.
I was at the shop (because my shop is in the same building) when they showed up.
