FRONT FENDER REMOVAL.

Post by smithrw »

A small mishap in the garage and my front fender is cracked. Not broken totally in two pieces but cracked. I can touch up paint it and it sort of looks ok but since it's a fairly new scooter I'm thinking about replacing the fender. Wondering where's the best place to locate one for a Pamplona other than the dealer and also how to remove the fender.
Thanks

Thanks for that. That's probly where i'll get it. Looks like there's two screws on the lower parts of the fender and two clips of some sort on the upper part. Just not sure how to get the two upper clips to separate. Trying not to do any further damage. Darn, darn darn!

As usual, most things aren't quite a difficult as they might seem. Got the front fender off finally. Two screws, one on each side next to the fork. Then up about 6 inches is a small plastic nub (for the lack of a better term) Which fits into the other body panel. Then the darn thing nearly falls off. Basically two screws holding it together. Hope this might help someone in the future.

Bummer - we pulled off a Pamplona a few weeks ago - would have worked for you just like new.

Somtimes putting them back on can be a bit of a pain - we just installed our new blackjack black front fender and it sure looks good!

Do you still have the fender? If you do, I'd be interested.
