During the summer in our parking garages at work there were: 3 Harleys, 2 Hondas, a BMW, (Yamaha) Vulcan, Vino, and a Vespa GTS. This week it has been cool in the mornings here in San Diego (low 60's). You would thought there was 6ft on snow on the ground because none of those bike have been here all week. But my Buddy STANDS ALONE AND PROUD!

geez you guys are wusses out there. I ride in the 30's.
as temps drop, I do find that scooterists are much tougher than motorcyclers.by the time the salt and ice hit the road, I am done.

I've done -6F..twice. Err, it wasn't fun. I ride my Kymco ZX50 during the winter and have found that once the temp goes below 0F the auto-choke shuts off after about a mile although it takes about 2 miles before the engine was warm enough to idle without it. I don't imagine the engineers parameters were set quite that wide... Brrr.

Yep will be riding most of the winter. Pretty soon I will be putting the windshield back on, that always helps keep the cold off.

Nice photo, ScooterDave!
I'm curious, why won't Jess let you have an avatar?
