Long Beach, CA riders?

Post by MadPete »

Hey all I just moved out here and ride to work almost daily, I see a few scooters here and there and was just wondering if there were any Scooter Clubs in the Long Beach area, or maybe if there were enough of us we could start our own club?

Check out the LA Scooter Meetup Group. Eric (MB moderator) and I along with some others run it. Some of our rides might be a little ways away for you but we were just down in the LBC for a rally a few weeks ago. There is also a San Diego Meetup Group. Again a bit of a ride for you, but a nice one :)

I know there are other groups in your area that I can't remember right now but I'm certain in no time this thread will be full of links for you.

Welcome to CA Pete! Hope we get to ride together soon.

[edit to add: I remembered one that's near by... The South Bay Scooter Club]

I'm a fellow LBCer. I have a blue buddy if ya ever see me go by. No clubs here, except a vintage scooter club (they wont accept plastic, or automatic scoots) Maybe we can start something, or just go on a ride sometime 8)

Hey ScootStevie, it would be cool to ride with another Buddy. I work in Signal Hill and ride to work almost every day. We should definatly find some more scooter people in the area and start something up. San Diego and Santa Monica/ Hollywood is a little far, maybe we can fill in the gap?

Depends. Sometimes I ride up to Hermosa Beach and back (nice ride). Sometimes just to run errands. Or down to Huntington Beach. What about you?? I live in Alamitos Beach
