Central NH in Fall

Post by prrfan53 »

230 great miles on the Italia150! The last gasp of warm weather as the trip started in Keene, then to Concord, Bow, Weare, Hillsboro and Jaffrey. Polite cagers and no Buddy problems...she behaved like a true lady!

What a dream. I wonder if they will let you ride a scoot to the top of Mt. Washington? The bumper sticker wouldn't fit, though.

Did you know? According to Live Science site:

"While leaves in the United States turn yellow, orange and red in the autumn, those in Europe only turn yellow"

Particularly in France, where their army does the same thing when faced with the possibility of battle.

Sorry, I could not resist. I love the French, really I do.

I see your point. We fly and drive to that part of the country and it's bad enough coming down wondering how the previous renter treated the brakes.

My college science prof went into great detail about how new england had the best fall colors in world. Saddly I can't recall if she ever told us why that is. (went to school in northern vt)
