Where is Asia as in what city was that first video filmed?

Those scooter only lanes and especially the one in the tunnel were great.

where in Asia?

Although many Taiwan cities look alike, this could be Hsin-Chu; about 1 hour south of Taipei. Big silicon wafer industry there, been there six trips....never again. You need to be fearless to ride two-up there; been there, done that! Great folks there, regardless of looniness on the streets.

Man, I know something's wrong when the first thing I think when I see cool cam setup is some sorta crazy high lift 4V head setup :) Thats a nifty camERA mount though.

I quit watching after mordeth said "I record everything, when I ride everyday"

He reminds me of a old woman writing her diary and recording events that will be passed down to no one and never read because of their unimportance.

He doesn't keep everything (he explains how his recorder overwrites when it fills up), he just has his camera on in case something "cool" happens, like witnessing a crash. I'm not saying it's psychologically healthy... just not the pathology you're assuming.

From what I experienced on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon to the old guys) the traffic there looks rather well behaved. Traffic lights were there to see who had the loudest horn and biggest cahones. No stopping. You stop, you lose. Blow, brake and swerve, go. Repeat as needed.
