Please tell me if this is in any way not kosher, but we're having daily specials from now until Christmas Eve!
The special will feature a different product or products every day, usually alternating between a GY6 product and some 250cc product (which I know doesn't apply to the Buddy folks, but it does to 1/2 our normal customer base).
We've already had some specials on Dr Pulley sliders and main springs (and will again in the future -- probably paired with the Dr P variator - hint hint...) There will be many more to come.
Feel free to email me @ [email protected] with 'suggestions' for packages as not every day's special has been decided. Check back in daily to see what's new.
The daily special will ALWAYS be on the front page of http://www.buggypartsnw.com in the special green and red mud-splattered image.
Once again, I apologize if this post is against the rules and ask the mods to delete it if it is.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and delightful holiday season!

Picked up a Sunpro CP8215 StyleLine Voltmeter for the Blur for $12.26, free shipping.

BTW, I've seen this neat little gauge strip for about $25.00 that has voltage, temp, black ice warning, stopwatch and lap counter functions. Didn't really need all the gee-whizzies on it, but thought I'd mention it in case anyone else was interested:

Kaos - which clutch is the one you're getting?Kaos wrote:Well, since this is the most Voodooful time of the year, I'm buying more performance parts! (Big surprise, huh?)
Koso Racing Clutch: $50 with shipping.
Oil filter: $10
Oil: $4.50
Total: $64.50
I know there are a few different flavors of Koso clutches out there, but am having a hard time locating them. Can you PM me a source on those?
I have one type on my site that is a lot more expensive than $50 (wholesale cost!), but it's not just a standard type clutch. It's got a bunch of adjustments you can make and is very high quality.
Heck, even the PACKAGING is nice on it!

This one is the Non-adjustable racing style one. Its got much larger friction surfaces on it.bpnwmike wrote:Kaos - which clutch is the one you're getting?Kaos wrote:Well, since this is the most Voodooful time of the year, I'm buying more performance parts! (Big surprise, huh?)

I've actually never seen this one that cheap before. It was unfortunately a random eBay find. The cheapest I've seen this one other places is around $80. It also had no packaging whatsoever.
Here's the image from the eBay listing: <img src="http://i.ebayimg.com/19/!BZ1Lr7gBmk~$(K ... g~~_12.JPG">
I put it in this afternoon, and so far its quite nice. I'm not sold on the 2000RPM springs that were installed in it when I got it, but it grabs really well even with the 2k springs.
EDIT: In fact, without shipping it was only $22 bucks, but shipping from Taiwan is a bit high this time of year.

As I said before - I don't know if these will even fit on the Buddy's but they sure are nice, and look to have even longer clutch pad surfaces.

It looks like a normal GY6 clutch, if so it'll fit. I really like that open spring style, makes spring swaps so much easier.bpnwmike wrote:As I said before - I don't know if these will even fit on the Buddy's but they sure are nice, and look to have even longer clutch pad surfaces.

1 Fieldsheer Aqua Sport TX Jacket, Black.
I got tired of bundling sweatshirts under my mesh jacket on the "cold" mornings here and since I have a weekly longer evening ride now, I decided to get an actual textile jacket with a nice liner. Bonus, it's waterproof. Thanks to Fieldsheer for making relatively non-power ranger gear. (But I'll drop you in a second when I get enough money on the side for a Corazzo Ventata!)

Total: $90.00 (plus $1 to ModBud via newenough.com)

Let's see, so far I've spent a bit to spruce-up the P200...
Air Bellows: $9.99
Rubber Legshield Trim: $15.99
Brake Shoes: $30.00
2T Oil: $12.00
Levers: $18.00
P200E Badge: $7.90
Gasket Set: $18.00
Replacement Top End: $150.00
TOTAL: $261.88
I spent like 80 bucks on paint & stuff too, but that was before Thanksgiving.
Oh yeah and I spent $475 on a PS3 and games, so probably won't be doing anymore spending for a while!
I'm not made of money you know!

The object of my latest fiscal indiscretion arrived this morning... a brand new Vespa GTS 250 that I posted earlier in this thread. Tomorrow it gets a sidestand installed, because I'm too lazy and/or klutzy to live with that damned centerstand!

Nice Scooter!
Be careful with those side-stands; I’m still doing body work on my wife’s GTS; after a second fall.
The Vespa dealer, who is also a Harley dealer, supplied me with a nice Harley-logoed 8" black disk, which is used as a firm base for a sidestand. They cost just a couple of bucks... probably the only modestly-priced item in the whole store!

$42 for a new "premium" bike cover. The jury's out on this one... it's the same company that makes the other bike covers that I like; but the material, despite their claims of being completely water proof, doesn't look like it is. Time and weather will tell.
Now I just need the roads to stay clear so I can pick up the bike to go under it!

Well, now that everything's official and signed (<a href="topic13953.html">I didn't want to jinx anything</a>) you can put me down for $3496. Delivery is tomorrow (so I didn't have to drive it home in snow-sludge or unload it off my truck into a snow-covered backyard with a lovely, but lightweight wife). Pics, of course, will come later.
